Key questions to ask
before buying a Palletizing Bag Gripper:
- What is the Pitch and Diameter of the
roller conveyor? Standard pitch dimensions are 3 inches or 75 mm;
standard diameter is 2 inches. Other sizes may cause an additional
fee.
- Roller Conveyor - Have you verified that
your roller conveyor is wide enough to receive the fingers in the
open position?
- What is your robot mounting pattern? SAS
will drill the Bag Gripper’s mounting plate with your robot’s bolt
circle pattern.
- Valve Packages - Should they be wired 0 VDC
common (PNP) or +24 VDC common (NPN)?
- Will all your bag sizes fit in the bag gripper?
- Is it a harsh operating environment (washdown,
product dust, corrosive)?
