NEW JX Robotic Platform from >SAS< Automation

>SAS< Automation introduces new JX Robotic Gripper Platform for robotic EOAT and end effectors. Developed for heavy and bulky applications, the new frame profile platform is similar in size to the company’s current J profile (40 x 40 mm and 40 x 80 mm) but is produced to accept the standard channel nuts utilized in the X profile robotic gripper platform.

In addition, two sides have thicker material in the walls to allow for direct mounting of pneumatic fittings for greater flexibility in pneumatic “plumbing” or “routing” to stream line the routing of hoses to gripper end effectors such as grippers or vacuum cups allowing almost limitless applications.

Furthermore, the JX profile, with its commonality to the channel nut of the X profile, allows for better interchangeability with existing >SAS< gripper components while permitting the facility to have less inventory of individual components necessary to fit specific sizes and types of profiles for spare parts as well as new production requirements.
