What's the difference between
an
engineering solution and "design assistance"? Plenty.
Just ask
Lasco Fittings.
Unlike distributors of EOAT, >SAS<
Automation is a leading manufacturer of EOAT. Only >SAS<
offers you a design team of licensed engineers along with
custom engineered tools made from strong, lightweight materials that increase
productivity while reducing robot wear and tear. All this from the most
experienced EOAT Engineering team in the industry. While others
provide "design assistance", SAS provides complete engineering
services from special tools to complete automation cells.

from Lasco Fittings had to say about the >SAS< Automation design
and engineering team, and how they helped improve his automation
processes.

GEP |
A key
component to efficient manufacturing of our fittings is our
automation equipment. Prior to contacting SAS Automation,
our automation processes were sorely lacking both in
poor part placement and robots dropping parts. After SAS evaluated our production challenges, their
engineering staff was able to engineer their GEP gripper
(making it non-rotational), just for us that now saves
us money day-in-and-day-out. We credit our efficient robotic
operation to the EOAT engineering provided by SAS
Automation.
SAS Automation has
impressed us with their knowledge of robotics and
engineering capabilities. Our prior tooling, did not meet
our expectations. We now completely understand the benefits
of having a company that manufacturers tooling as their
primary expertise.
The
fact that SAS Automation came to our facility, and
engineered a part just for our application proves to us that
they understand EOAT like no other company.

No company has more experience when it comes to
designing gripper systems to make your robot grip, hold, locate, inspect,
move, lift, release, and handle your part in a repeatable fashion. Whether
your needs are to pick and place a part from a mold, or to provide an
automation cell, >SAS< has the technical talent to meet your needs.
Designing gripper systems to enable your robot to do more, and you to do less
is our primary business.
SAS is ISO 9001:2000 quality certified.
